I’ve been there and I get it- switching to clean makeup can be a daunting task.
I was loyal to my Maybelline Gel Eyeliner and my L’Oréal Double Extend Mascara for more than a decade and breaking up was hard to do. They were literally the last two items in my routine to be switched out after trying one too many green brands that just didn’t cut it for me (raccoon eyes, anyone?).
There are good reasons why you have to pay a premium for cleaner products- we’re talking safer formulas, quality ingredients, less fillers, small batch production etc. However, in the last few years I’ve discovered many clean makeup brands that are not only wallet-friendly (most of the products are under $30!) but perform as well as their conventional counterparts.
In this post I am sharing the brands (with BIPOC- and LGBTQ-owned ones marked with an asterisk) along with my tried-and-true favorites, so pin, share or send this to a friend or family member because clean beauty should be for everyone. Can I get an amen?

Just wanted to say thank you for this post! I've been looking all over for clean beauty brands, and aside from Sephora and an article from Allure, there's very little information out there. Your article gave way more info and more unique brands I would have never stumbled across! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHi Katie, thank you for stopping by and I am so glad you got to discover more brands! I am doing a post on clean skincare brands soon, so stay tuned! :)
DeleteI currently have tried BellaMe and Crunchi and really like both. I actually am a partner with BellaMe at www.bellame.com/happyogalecia. I love the lip glosses, lip lacquers and lipsticks! We are coming out with Mascara this July 2020 and I'm so excited!it looks amazing. I will be trying some products from this list too.
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried Crunchi but I have heard many good things- it is definitely on my wishlist!
DeleteWow this list great! As I wear less and less makeup, I try to find clean brands to replace the things I still do wear. I also have extremely sensitive skin so not everything works well. Loving all those gorgeous shades for Range Beauty! Thanks for this list!
