Week 17: United By Blue
Summer's almost here and the great outdoors is calling. With a complete line of responsible and durable apparel, bags and accessories made with sustainable materials like organic cotton, recycled polyester and bison fiber, United By Blue believes it is our responsibility to protect the world's oceans and waterways and pledge to remove a pound of trash from them for every product they sell through company-organized cleanups. Since the company began in 2010, they've hosted 177 cleanups and removed over 1 million pounds of trash across 26 states!
Week 18: Tribe Alive
Tribe Alive is a worldwide collaboration with female artisans in Guatemala, Haiti, India, Honduras and Fort Worth, Texas to provide employment that offers a safe work environment and fair and dependable income. Their passion for quality handmade clothing, accessories and home goods as well as responsible commerce puts them on a platform that empowers women to raise themselves out of poverty all around the planet.
Week 19: Sotela
Etthical fashion blogger-turned-entrepreneur Hanna Baror-Padilla founded Sotela to offer wardrobe staples that will always fit a woman and make her feel beautiful. Every piece is designed for comfort and style, spanning multiple sizes which allows room for our dynamic bodies to stretch and grow through the seasons of our lives. The entire line is created with environmentally-friendly fabrics and manufactured in California by an experienced team that prides themselves in a safe and clean environment and legal wages to its employees.
