Boxwalla Beauty: Let It Glow, Let It Glow

Tis the most wonderful time of the year, and Boxwalla is bringing us a festive selective of green beauty products formulated to help us achieve our optimal glow. Who wouldn't want bright eyes, luminous cheeks and radiant skin for the holidays?

Boxwalla needs no introduction here since I have been regularly reviewing their boxes, and every box has managed to thrill and engage- a rare feat in the world of subscription boxes. Their latest December Box is themed "Let It Glow" and features cult favorite RMS Beauty, global-minded Lina Hanson and indie brand Wabi-Sabi Botanicals.

Lina Hanson Global Face Trio ($25.00 for 1 oz)
Lina Hanson wears many hats, as a celebrity make-up artist, natural beauty expert, author and entrepreneur. Her epynomous skincare collection is inspired by her travels and celebrates the diversity of beauty all over the world, and she partners with women's co-ops and farmers to source for ethically-harvested ingredients.
The travel-friendly Global Face Trio in particular taps into beauty rituals she discovered while travelling around Southeast Asia, with time-honored ingredients like thanaka (a Burmese tree bark), rice bran, ginseng and lemongrass. This multi-tasking product serves as a cleanser, exfoliator and mask, designed to simplify your skincare routine and save space in your suitcase.
This gentle but effective product is fully customizable for your skin concerns- add equal parts water and powder for cleansing, less water for deeper exfoliation or mix with water, honey or yoghurt and leave on as a mask. I've been using this day and night, and it has made my complexion smoother and brighter, leaving the perfect canvas for make-up and my evening face oils.
Ingredients: Kaolin (White Clay), Limonia Acidissima (Thanaka) Wood Powder**, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Powder*, Oryza sativa (Rice) Bran Powder, Acanthopanax Senticosus (Ginseng) Stem Extract, Bambusa Vulgaris (Bamboo) Stem Powder, Citric Acid, Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root, Glycyrrhiza glabra (Licorice) Root Powder, Cymbopogon Schoenanthus (Lemongrass) Oil*, Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin) Peel Oil*, Limonene, Citronellol, Geraniol
* Organic ** Ethically Harvested

RMS is short for Rose Marie Swift, an outspoken advocate and pioneer in the world of natural cosmetics. She creates products with raw, food grade and organic ingredients specially designed to create a dialogue with your skin, and her formulas are simple to understand and full of healing ingredients that will bring out the best in your skin. Her Un-Cover Up and lip2cheek count as some of my makeup kit must-haves, so I was thrilled to see her best-selling Living Luminizer in this box.
This satin-pearl shade will work with all skin tones- swipe this across the apple of your cheeks, under your brow arches and down the bridge of your nose and your Cupid's bow to illuminate where the light hits your face. The result? A lovely, dewy glow without being too glittery or greasy, so be prepared for the compliments that will come your way!
One thing to note is that Rose Marie never intended for the product to sit on your face all day, so you may find that you have to reapply it after being out and about for a few hours, although its compact size makes it easy to throw into your bag for an afternoon touch up.
Ingredients: Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil*, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil*, Cera Alba (Beeswax)*, Tocopherol (non-GMO), Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary) Extract* and may contain [+/- Titanium Dioxide CI77891, Mica CI 77019]
* Certified Organic

I've featured the Budhi Eye Nectar as one of the 7 Tried-And-True Products I Am Obsessed With This Fall, so pardon me for sounding like a broken record.

This rich, velvety nectar is the answer to all your eye concerns, promising to lighten dark circles, reduce inflammation and signs of aging while fighting free radical damage and protect the delicate areas around your eyes. I use just a single drop under and around both eyes, gently massaging the oil in with my ring finger.

The base is the exotic Peruvian Sacha Inchi oil rich in fatty acids and includes a medley of antioxidant-rich coffe fruit, carotene-rich Sea Buckthorn berries and beloved Evening Primrose Oil. What really worn me over was the warm, heavy blend of Tonka and Cacao beans with roasted Venezeluan coffee beans. making this the most decadent eye treatment ever

Ingredients: Peruvian Sacha Inchi Oil*, Seabuckthorn Fruit Supercritical CO2*, Evening Primrose Oil*, Coffee Fruit Oil*, Olive Squalene*, Guava Seed Oil*,  Prickly Pear Seed Oil**, Non-GMO Mixed Tocopherols, Cacao Bean Absolute**, Tonka Bean Absolute*
* Certified Organic Ingredient ** Wildcrafted
