5 Places To Shop Green Beauty
In Singapore

It may have been the case a few years ago that getting your hands on green beauty products in Singapore would be a challenge, but look closely enough now and you will find many places that stock your favorite local and global brands.

I had started researching a few weeks before my most recent trip home and was surprised by the breadth of my findings. When I reached out to many of the brands and boutiques to develop a better understanding of the green beauty landscape in Singapore, almost everyone responded with enthusiasm, and it was such a treat for me to be able to plug into the local scene!

1. Bud Cosmetics

Bud Organics
Founder Eric Chew of Bud Organics has been in the green beauty space for over a decade and has an encyclopedic knowledge of the brands and products in his three boutiques, but he truly impressed with me with his openness and humility. Bud carries an extensive range of products for your face, body and home specially curated for the Singaporean weather, from well-established brands like The Organic Pharmacy and Oskia (UK), 100% Pure and Juice Beauty (US), Mukti (Australia) and Living Nature (New Zealand). Everything in the store is made from premium natural, certified organic, biodynamic and/or plant-derived ingredients, free of harsh synthetic chemicals and artifical fragrances, so you can shop at ease with them!
Bud Organics
Bud Cosmetics has three locations in Mandarin Gallery, Novena Square w and Paya Lebar Square. and you can check here for the address and opening hours for each store. You can follow them on Facebook for their latest updates.

Sharifah Fazzeleen's inspiring journey to wellness and weight loss was what prompted her to start Flare Wellness, after many years of experience in the beauty industry. She has an intimate selection of homegrown and international brands like Frank Skincare (Singapore), JOIK Natural (Estonia), Florens Cosmetics (Italy) and Luzern Laboratories (Switzerland) and her knowledge of the ingredients and performance of the products allows her to provide customized facials for her clients. She also conducts workshops in her boutique and hosts an annual wellness retreat for her customers.

On a mission to introduce natural products into your everyday routine, they carry mostly indie US brands like Apoterra Skincare, COOLA, Meow Meow Tweet, Piper Wai and ILIA, and recently introduced Juara Skincare to their line-up. Shipping is free for local purchases over S$20 and international purchases above S$100. NAIISE
Naiise is a fast-expanding retailer that showcases original products from emerging and established brands from Singapore and around the world. Although more focused on lifestyle and design goods, I love that they have a dedicated corner to highlight local green beauty brands like Balm Kitchen, Scent Library, Frank Skincare and Handmade Heroes.
NAIISE

5. Pure Tincture

Pure Tincture
Pure Tincture is an award-winning spa and boutique helmed by engineer turned beauty expert Helen Lien, who stumbled into the organic beauty space when she was searching for suitable products for her sister's sensitive skin. She has a wonderful selection of products from some of the best green beauty brands in the market, like Alima Pure, Odacite, OSEA, Pai and most recently Josh Rosebrook, at very competitive prices.

Pure Tincture also boasts an extensive spa menu, and Helen shared with me that she travels every year to meet with different brands to learn how to best incorporate their products into various facial routines. She generously offered to give me my first ever facial (I know!) and suggested the OSEA Antioxidant Facial for my skin type. After 60 minutes of pure bliss with Helen working her magic on me, I left the spa bare-faced and woke up the next morning with an incredible glow on my face.

Post-facial glow: I am wearing mostly Singaporean green beauty brands in this photo,

Pure Tincture has two locations at Tras Street and The Adelphi and you can check here for the exact address and opening hours for each studio. You can follow them on Facebook and Instagram for their latest updates.
A big thank you to everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to meet with me and share your passion and insights, and I am so excited to see how the green beauty scene continues to grow and expand in the near future!
