My Obsession With Rachel's Plan Bee

I have been a little obsessed with Rachel's Plan Bee lately.
I first connected with Rachel on Instagram a few months ago and my curiosity was piqued after reading multiple rave reviews about her products. You can imagine my excitement when I won a giveaway she hosted and ended up ordering one of almost everything in stock so that I could experience the hype for myself.
Her lovingly handcrafted creations did not disappoint, and I will be sharing with you two of my favorites from her line.
Rachel began making skincare products after the birth of her son Ric almost 15 years ago, and he remains the inspiration behind her heartfelt business. As a child with special needs, his very dry and sensitive skin reacted to everything she was using on him, and this drove her to seek a natural and effective solution to alleviate his discomfort. Her first creation was the lotion bar, and this has since grown into the collection of complementary products you see on her website now.
Body Oil ($29.00 for 3.8 oz) and Bee Cream ($12.00 for 1.5 oz)
One of her bestselling products is the Body Oil, a beautiful blend of botanical oils (including apricot kernel oil, cranberry seed oil and meadowfoam seed oil) that will lock in the moisture in your skin and provide lasting hydration. It does not hurt that Rachel's signature blend of vanilla and sweet orange oil which will leave you smelling like freshly-baked vanilla cupcakes.
For someone like me with chronically parched skin in the winter months, this oil has been a life-saver. I slather it all over my body right after I step out of the shower while my skin is still damp. Because the oil is quickly absorbed into my skin, I don't have to worry about it transferring onto my clothes.
Although I haven't tried, other customers have commented that they use this as a moisturizer for dry scalp and pregnant bellies, as a lip gloss or face oil. This is clearly a product that works from head-to-toe!

Ingredients: apricot kernel oil*, sunflower seed oil*, meadowfoam seed oil, grapeseed oil, tocopherol (mixed)**, cranberry seed oil*, vanilla planifolia, citrus sinensis (sweet orange) oil*

*certified organic **non-gmo
Bee Cream ($12.00)

The standout product for me is the Bee Cream, and I have a mini size that I carry with me everywhere. The first thing you will notice is the consistency of the product- it is a whipped blend of organic shea butter, natural beeswax and botanical oils that will quickly dissolve and nourish your skin as you massage the product in.
I use this multi-tasking cream for my cuticles, knuckles and pretty much any dry area on my body. The formula is very concentrated so you will only need a very small amount each time- I have been digging into my pot every day for the last few weeks and I have barely made a dent! The only problem is that I cannot stop smelling my hands when I have this on, and it borders on embarrassing.
Ingredients: grapeseed oil, beeswax, shea butter*, coconut oil*, apricot kernel oil*, tocopherol (mixed)**, citrus sinensis (sweet orange) oil*, vanilla planifolia and citrus paradisii (grapefruit) peel oil
*certified organic **non-gmo

I certainly appreciate that Rachel is commited to making clean and safe products at a very affordable price point, and she also been incorporating more organic ingredients in her products as the brand evolves. You can read her blog post on her creative process and the mission of the company.

As a testament to how much I love her products, I have since made multiple orders of different products to give away to my family and friends. Because good things are meant to be shared, right?

Have you tried anything from Rachel's Plan Bee?
What is your favorite product?

  1. Ok, you've convinced me. That bee cream is next on my list! Is it too heavy though/ does it take a while to fully sink in? I'm one of those people who need a cream that sinks in quickly because I get very paranoid with any slight feeling of "slimy" on my hands!

    1. I only need a tiny dab of the bee cream on my skin... There is no feeling of slimy-ness after the product is absorbed and all that lingers is the DELICIOUS scent of vanilla. So good for moisturizing on-the-go!

  2. Love her oil ❤️❤️❤️❤️

  3. I became interested in this brand after the Kimberly Lock collab and so many bloggers raving about the collab oil... so I snagged an oil & body scrub duo during the valentines day special. I was so excited to try it because I had missed out on it last year, darn limited ed! Anyway, I do love the oil and it's great for my stretching skin and pregnant belly. Also really like the matching scrub. After I run out of the oil I'll be purchasing her original formula because it's so affordable and works very well ( I have a sample of it).
